Blue Jay Hideaway

We rented this beautiful cabin over Labor day weekend after a recommendation from a friend. The cabin was updated and very clean. The host was very friendly and easy to work with. The location of the property is very convenient to several hikes and waterfalls as well as the Blue Ridge parkway. Sunset at Waterrock Knob is a must. The cabin is very close to downtown Waynesville as well which is nice for planning a lunch, shopping or dinner. I highly recommend this cabin and give it 5 stars. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed at Blue Jay Hideaway multiple times over the years. We love the location of the house. On the mountain but not too far up, the stream in the back makes fun for kids and listening to on the patio and it’s only a short drive to so many fun towns and places to visit. The house is updated beautifully and very clean. It’s one of our favorite getaway destinations.
